A New Era for Surya Ensemble: Elevating Our Live Experience
Last Friday, we had the immense pleasure of hosting the invite-only launch event for Pulse. Surrounded by friends, family, media, and local influencers, it was an incredibly successful evening showcasing the kind of immersive live music Atlanta audiences have been waiting for. Getting to showcase the depth of our talent and share the stage with such a supportive audience was a beautiful reminder of why we do what we do.
It was a fantastic show, but it also taught us something important about the future of our performances.
The Pivot: Finding the Right Space
Our launch was held at the Spotlight in Alpharetta, located inside Northpoint Mall. While the energy in the room was electric and a lot of people showed up to support us, we realized the room presented some sightline challenges. Simply put, the flat layout made it difficult for everyone to clearly see the stage and fully take in the performance.
Coupled with the massive upcoming expansion happening at Northpoint Mall—and the uncertainty surrounding the future of the Spotlight space—we knew we needed a home that could properly honor the visual beauty of our shows.
Welcome to Stage Door Theatre: The Future of Immersive Live Music Atlanta
We are absolutely thrilled to announce that Surya Ensemble is officially moving our future productions to the Stage Door Theatre in Dunwoody!
This is a massive step in the right direction for us and a major upgrade for our audience. When it comes to hosting intimate concerts Atlanta audiences will truly love, this space is exceptional. It features 125 stadium-style seats, meaning every single person in the room will have a perfect, unobstructed view of the dancers and musicians.
The theater also includes a concession stand, allowing our guests to easily grab a drink before settling in. It is exactly the kind of sophisticated, comfortable environment we’ve been looking for to host our unique live performances Atlanta arts lovers expect.

We are incredibly grateful for the exposure we’ve received so far and the overwhelmingly positive feedback from everyone who attended the launch. We are passionate about bringing high-quality, multicultural performing arts Atlanta can be proud of, and we are so excited for this next phase of growth.
