2026 is shaping up to be a big year for Surya Ensemble! More performances, new collaborations, and the start of our next chapter as we bring our music to new cities. If you’ve been looking for things to do in Atlanta that feel elevated, intimate, and genuinely different, this year’s calendar is built for you.
We’re sharing our 2026 plan here so you can follow along, grab tickets early, and stay in the loop as we grow. Whether you’re planning a date night, a girls’ night out, or just want a memorable cultural experience, we’d love to see you at a show.
Our home base in Atlanta: Abernathy Arts Center
All three of our currently scheduled 2026 shows are happening at the Abernathy Arts Center in Sandy Springs, our resident home in Atlanta.
We love performing there because it’s the kind of space that matches what Surya Ensemble is all about: an intimate, art-filled environment where you can actually feel the music up close. It’s not a huge venue where you’re watching from a distance. It’s a curated experience where every detail matters.
If you’re searching for Atlanta live music that blends cultures and instruments you don’t hear every day, this is the place to experience it.
Three upcoming shows (save these dates)
Right now, we have three shows on the calendar:
-
January 31, 2026 – Abernathy Arts Center (Sandy Springs)
-
March 6, 2026 – Abernathy Arts Center (Sandy Springs)
-
May 8, 2026 – Abernathy Arts Center (Sandy Springs)
All shows start at 8PM (doors open at 7:30pm). You can get your tickets here: https://www.suryaensemble.com/#tickets
What to expect at a Surya Ensemble show
Surya Ensemble is a world music and live performance group that blends Eastern and Western musical traditions into one immersive experience. Our performances are designed to feel like a journey, not just a concert.
Our core show, ‘Elements’ is inspired by wind, water, earth, and fire. It’s musical storytelling with rich textures, unexpected combinations, and moments that feel both cinematic and intimate.
If you’ve ever wanted a night out that feels like something you’d stumble upon in a travel memory, but it’s right here in Atlanta, you’re in the right place.
March 6: A special collaboration with Jessica ‘It’s All Good’

One of the things we’re most excited about this year is our March 6 show, because it’s a collaboration with Jessica ‘It’s All Good.’
Jessica is a comedian, MC, and DJ and she’s bringing a whole new energy to the night. She’ll be hosting and setting the tone, and we’re genuinely thrilled to create something together that blends music, humor, and a classy vibe.
This is the kind of collaboration we love: it keeps the experience fresh, it brings different audiences together, and it turns a great live music night into a full-on event.
If you’re looking for concerts in Atlanta that aren’t the same predictable lineup, March 6 is one to circle.
Branching out: Nashville is next
Atlanta is home but 2026 is also about expansion.
We’re actively looking to branch into the Nashville market with plans to produce a show there later this year if all goes well.
Nashville is known for music (obviously), but what we’re bringing is different: a world music experience that blends cultures, instruments, and performance styles in a way that feels fresh and elevated.
If you’re in Nashville (or have friends there), consider this your heads-up: Surya Ensemble is coming!
A new show in the works: “Pulse” (world dance)

We’re also building something new behind the scenes, a world dance show called ‘Pulse.’
This project is still in development, but the vision is clear: a performance that centers rhythm, movement, and global dance traditions, the kind of show you feel in your body as much as you hear it.
We’ll share more as it comes together, but if you’ve loved the immersive storytelling of ‘Elements,’ you’re going to want to stay tuned for ‘Pulse.’
Why we’re sharing our plan (and how you can be part of it)
We’re not just announcing dates, we’re inviting you into the journey.
Surya Ensemble exists to share music, culture, and art with the world. Our name represents the sun and enlightenment and our goal is to create nights that leave people feeling more connected, more inspired, and more alive.
If you’ve been following us for a while, thank you. If you’re new here, welcome and we hope you’ll come experience what we’re building.
The simplest way to support
- Come to a show (and bring someone you love)
- Follow along online so you don’t miss announcements
- Share our events with friends who are always looking for unique things to do
Every seat filled helps us keep creating, keep collaborating, and keep expanding.
Final note: see you in Atlanta (and soon, Nashville)
We’re excited for this year! Three Atlanta shows at our home base, an incredible collaboration on March 6, the beginnings of a Nashville expansion, and the creation of ‘Pulse.’
If you’re looking for things to do in Atlanta that feel like a true experience, not just another night out, we’d love to see you at Abernathy Arts Center.
Thanks for being part of the journey. We can’t wait to share what’s next!
