A truly unique world music rendition of Carlos Santana’s iconic hit, “Smooth.” This project is extra special because we teamed up with the phenomenal flamenco duo, Los de ida Y Vuelta: Gato Bonilla (flamenco dancer) and her husband Yesid de la Rivera (flamenco guitar). Their chemistry and artistry brought a whole new flavor to the song, and we can’t wait for you to experience it!
Behind the Collaboration
Our vision was simple: take a classic, add a global twist, and let the music and movement speak for themselves. The flamenco guitar’s passionate rhythms, Gato’s electrifying dance, and the Surya Ensemble’s signature blend. Ankit on shehnai, Catherine on viola, Kim on harp, and Maria on dance create a sound and energy that’s fresh, catchy, and totally unforgettable.
The video was filmed at our home base, the Abernathy Arts Center, making it one of the best things to do in Atlanta for fans of live music and global culture. You’ll feel like you’re right there with us, surrounded by world-class artistry and musical storytelling.
